Discovery Tours
Our Discovery Tours are designed to give parents an immersive experience into the vibrant learning environment at Darwin Public School. During the tour, you’ll get a glimpse into the daily life of our students, understand our unique Montessori and ICSE curricula, and see how our educational philosophy fosters a love for learning in every child.
The Discovery Tour is a key part of our admissions process, offering a chance for you to explore our thoughtfully designed learning spaces and engage with our dedicated faculty and leadership team. Age Criteria for Admissions
In accordance with Tamil Nadu State Norms and ICSE Admission Policy, children must meet
the following age requirements by September 30th of the academic year for which
admission is sought.

For Grades 2 and above: Admissions are subject to seat availability. Age requirements follow the same principle – children must have completed the appropriate age by September 30th of the academic year (Grade 2: 7 years, Grade 3: 8 years, and so on).
Important Note: The age calculation is based on the child’s age as on September 30th of the academic year for which admission is being sought. For example, for admission to Montessori Level 1 in the academic year beginning June 2026, your child must have completed 3 years of age by September 30, 2026.
Special Entry System for Montessori Level 1
Montessori Level 1 offers two entry points:
• June Entry: Child must complete 3 years by June 1, 2026
• October Entry: Child must complete 3 years by September 30, 2026 (Vijayadashami)
Special Policy for Montessori Level 3
Admission to Montessori Level 3 is available only for children currently enrolled in Montessori programs at other schools. Children from regular preschools or kindergartens should apply for Grade 1.
This policy ensures age-appropriate learning and development in alignment with state and national education standards.
